Inside Their World:

This close-knit family is looking for a dependable, experienced nanny to become a steady and supportive presence in the lives of three wonderful children. Dad is raising three unique personalities who are each entering exciting stages of childhood, and he's looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships with children of different ages while creating a calm, engaging environment each afternoon.

His oldest daughter is an independent, intelligent eleven-year-old with a love for science, engineering, building projects, and staying active. She enjoys being challenged, thrives when meaningfully engaged, and is naturally helpful around the house. Like many preteens, she occasionally needs support regulating big emotions and benefits from patient, consistent guidance.

His seven-year-old daughter is incredibly affectionate, creative, and thoughtful. She loves crafts, building projects, and imaginative play. While she can sometimes be stubborn or seek extra attention, she's making wonderful strides in emotional maturity and enjoys caregivers who encourage her creativity while providing gentle structure.

The youngest member of the family is an adventurous two-year-old who loves helping with whatever everyone else is doing. Curious, playful, and fearless, he enjoys hands-on activities, snuggles, and exploring the world around him. He keeps everyone on their toes and requires an attentive caregiver who embraces toddler curiosity while maintaining a safe environment.

Family Environment:

Dad is a present, involved father who values spending meaningful time with his children and supporting their interests and activities. His parenting style balances freedom with responsibility, giving his children opportunities to explore, learn, and become increasingly independent while still providing guidance and support. He describes himself as easygoing and relaxed, believing children benefit from having room to grow through everyday experiences.

As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting parks and museums, going to events, swimming, traveling, and making memories together. They appreciate genuine connection, flexibility, and caregivers who become a positive extension of the family.

Dad has a hybrid schedule and works from home 2 to 3 days a week in a separate office space, while being mindful of the nanny’s space and role throughout the day. Open communication and honesty are key. The nanny should be comfortable taking ownership of the day while keeping the family informed about anything important. The family is looking for someone who is genuine, trustworthy, and grounded and who approaches their work with honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

Who Thrives Here:

This role is ideal for a confident career nanny who enjoys the variety that comes with caring for children across multiple developmental stages. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and naturally adapts their approach to meet each child where they are. They enjoy everything from imaginative play and homework support to toddler adventures and active afternoons.

Dependability and flexibility are important qualifications for this role, including the ability to occasionally provide overnight care when needed. The family is looking for someone who is genuinely invested in building a trusting, long-term relationship with the children and becoming a consistent, positive presence in their lives. Strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to confidently manage an active household are all important qualities for success in this role.

Daily Rhythm:

Each day will revolve around providing attentive, nurturing care for three children, including two school age children and a toddler, while supporting their routines and development. Responsibilities include getting the older children off the bus, transportation to and from activities, homework assistance, planning fun educational age appropriate activities and outings, coordinating playdates, and creating a supportive environment where each child can thrive. The nanny will also help keep the home running smoothly through child related households, such as meal and snack prep, laundry, grocery shopping, and organizing children’s spaces. Flexibility is important, and the ideal candidate will confidently adapt to changing schedules while keeping Dad updated with photos and highlights of the children’s day.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check & a clean driving record
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Experience working with school-age children
