Job Details
Our client, located in Montecito, California, is seeking an experienced, professional, and engaging Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care for their twin children, age 2½ years.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, proactive, and energetic, with the ability to confidently manage a busy routine while fostering a fun, loving, and enriching environment for the children. This is a sole-charge position requiring excellent judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for twin toddlers.
• Plan and maintain the children's daily schedules and routines.
• Organize age-appropriate educational activities, outings, and playdates.
• Support early learning and preschool readiness through engaging activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Transport the children safely to and from activities and appointments.
• Maintain the children's bedrooms, play areas, clothing, and complete the children's laundry.
• Travel with the family both domestically and internationally.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's development and daily activities.

Accommodations

• A private bedroom and private bathroom are provided within the main residence.
• A vehicle is provided for work and personal use.

Household Environment
This is a fully staffed household. The nanny will work alongside a live-in Housekeeper, who manages the home's housekeeping responsibilities, and a live-out Weekend Nanny, who provides weekend childcare coverage. The weekday nanny's primary focus will be the children's care, development, and daily routines. The Nanny will report directly to the Estate Manager and work collaboratively with the household staff to ensure seamless household operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience in private households
• Previous experience as a live-in nanny preferred
• Previous travel nanny experience required
• Experience caring for toddlers, including multiple children
• College degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent references demonstrating longevity and outstanding childcare experience
