Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (45 hours/week)

Job Details
Our client, situated on the Upper West Side, is seeking an experienced full-time nanny who will also provide family assistant support for their two children, ages 10 and 4. This is a long-term, sole-charge childcare position for a dependable, nurturing, and highly organized caregiver who can confidently manage the children’s daily routines while creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities include school pick-up and transportation to activities, playdates, and appointments, planning and facilitating age-appropriate activities, assisting with homework and routines, preparing simple meals and snacks for the children, children’s laundry, light housekeeping related to the children, running errands, grocery shopping, and helping maintain an organized household.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and comfortable with an active New York City lifestyle. The nanny should enjoy walking to local parks, playgrounds, and neighborhood activities, and be confident navigating public transportation, including buses and subways.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time nanny experience
• Previous experience caring for children of similar age
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent childcare references required
