Compensation: $115,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: This is a one week on / one week off ROTA position. During your "on" week, the nanny will live in the family's residence with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. During extended travel periods, the schedule may shift to a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation to minimize travel frequency. The family will cover travel arrangements for non-local candidates, including flights to and from the Bay Area for each rotation.

A warm, active family of five based in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an exceptional, career-oriented ROTA Nanny to join their household long-term. The ideal candidate is an experienced, proactive, and nurturing caregiver who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys becoming an integral part of a family's daily life.
The family has three wonderful children: a bright and curious 9-year-old, an energetic 6-year-old, and an active 4-year-old. They are looking for a nanny who can provide thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care while creating a fun, structured, and supportive environment that encourages independence, creativity, and confidence.
The ideal candidate is a true team player who is comfortable working within a fully staffed household and assisting with light family assistant responsibilities during school hours, including approximately 10-15 hours per week of child-related organization, household support, and family assistance.
Responsibilities
Provide loving, attentive, and engaging care for three children ages 9, 6, and 4
Create and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, problem-solving, and independence
Support daily routines including morning preparation, school drop-offs/pick-ups, lunch preparation, children's meals, and bedtime routines
Maintain children's spaces through light tidying, laundry, organization, and keeping belongings prepared and accessible
Support children's emotional development and foster a positive, respectful environment
Collaborate closely with parents, co-nanny, and household staff to ensure consistency and excellent communication
Travel domestically and internationally with the family as needed
Maintain a safe, organized, and joyful atmosphere at all times
Schedule
ROTA schedule: One week on / one week off
Schedule may transition to two weeks on / two weeks off during extended travel periods
Live-in accommodations provided during working weeks with a private bedroom and bathroom
Holiday expectations: The nanny will work holidays that fall during their scheduled working rotation

Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of professional nanny experience with children ages 3-9
Prior ROTA nanny experience strongly preferred
Extensive domestic and international travel experience preferred
College degree strongly preferred; background in early childhood education, child development, or a related field is a plus
Strong understanding of developmental milestones and educational best practices
Excellent swimmer required
Valid passport and complete flexibility for travel
Clean driving record and confident driving experience
Ability to thrive in a high-net-worth, fully staffed household environment
Exceptional references from previous long-term families
Must successfully complete comprehensive background check, DMV check, and drug screening
