Compensation: $28-$35/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-9:00 AM and 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. For the right long-term fit, they are happy to guarantee 40 hours/week with additional family assistant and household support hours available. They can be flexible with the additional hours.

A warm and active dual-physician family in Burlington, Vermont is seeking an experienced, reliable, and engaging Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to join their household long-term. Both parents are physicians and are looking for someone who can provide thoughtful, nurturing care for their two children while also becoming a valued support system for their family.
This family loves spending time outdoors and is looking for someone who shares their appreciation for adventure, exploration, and active play. They enjoy creating meaningful experiences with their children and would love to welcome a caregiver who is enthusiastic about outdoor activities, hands-on learning, and being an engaged part of their children's daily lives.

Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, engaging care for two children
Support morning and evening routines
Help with school/daycare transitions
Plan outdoor activities, play-based learning, and age-appropriate activities
Assist with cooking and meal preparation (a plus!)
Light household support including organization, laundry, and keeping family spaces running smoothly
Create a positive, structured, and encouraging environment
Walking the family dog
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking someone who is warm, confident, and highly reliable, experienced caring for preschool and school-age children, active and enjoys outdoor adventures and hands-on play, interested in building a lasting relationship with a family, and comfortable taking initiative and becoming a trusted part of the household.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of professional in-home nanny experience
Experience with preschoolers and toddlers
CPR/First Aid certification
Must have a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Clear background check
Able to legally work in the USA
Comfortable with fair and legal pay - Payroll
Fluent in English
Proof of general vaccinations such as TDAP, MMR, and COVID
Comfortable with dogs
Live-In Option:
A live-in arrangement may be considered for the right candidate, including a private bedroom and bathroom.
