Job Details
We are seeking on behalf of our relocation client, a highly experienced, professional, and engaging Nanny to provide exceptional care for their three children, ages 8 years, 4 years, and 14 months, with a new baby expected in December. This is a long-term opportunity for a nurturing caregiver who enjoys working with children of varying ages and is confident caring for infants.
As the family is new to the area, they are seeking a nanny who is well established within the local community and can serve as a valuable resource by introducing the family to age-appropriate activities, classes, playgroups, seasonal programs, community events, and other opportunities that will help the children thrive and establish meaningful connections. The ideal candidate enjoys being actively involved in the community and is excited to help the family build a strong local network.
This position includes a combination of sole-charge and collaborative care, working alongside the parents and the family's weekend nanny to ensure continuity of care and a well-organized environment for the children.
Responsibilities include managing the children's schedules, providing transportation to and from school and activities, planning engaging educational, creative, and outdoor activities, researching and coordinating age-appropriate classes and community programs, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, children's laundry, and performing all nursery-related duties. The weekday nanny will work closely with the family's weekend nanny to maintain the children's bedrooms, play areas, nursery, clothing, toys, and supplies, ensuring all children's spaces remain clean, organized, and well-stocked. Following the arrival of the new baby, the nanny will provide attentive newborn care while maintaining age-appropriate routines for the older children. Light housekeeping related to the children is required.
Flexibility to travel with the family, including extended trips during the winter months, is required. Vehicle available during work hours.
Notes:
Following the arrival of the baby in December, a Newborn Care Specialist(s) will be employed by the family for approximately three months to provide daytime and overnight newborn support and assist with the family's transition. The nanny will work collaboratively with the parents, weekend nanny, and Newborn Care Specialist to ensure seamless care for all of the children during this period.
