Inside Their World:
A loving and connected family is searching for an experienced nanny who is passionate about child development and excited to become a trusted long-term partner in raising their two young sons. They are looking for someone who brings both warmth and expertise to the role, creating a home environment centered around curiosity, learning, and consistency.
Their youngest son is a happy, 5-month-old who is beginning to roll over and reach exciting developmental milestones. The family is seeking a nanny with strong infant experience who feels confident supporting his growth, establishing routines, and guiding him through each stage, including the transition to solids and baby-led weaning.
Their 2.5-year-old son is bright, imaginative, and incredibly verbal. While he may be a little shy when first meeting someone new, he quickly warms up to caregivers who are playful, patient, and genuinely engaged. He loves books, music, imaginative play, spending time outdoors, and discovering how the world works. His parents have fostered a love of learning, and through everyday play and conversation, he already recognizes letters, numbers, colors, and shapes and can count well beyond twenty. He attends preschool for half a day in the mornings.
While the primary focus will be caring for the baby during the day, the nanny should also feel comfortable caring for both children when needed, whether Mom is running errands, attending appointments, or the family would like an occasional evening out.
Family Environment:
This family has intentionally created a home where connection, curiosity, and engagement are at the heart of everyday life. They embrace a gentle yet structured parenting approach, balancing warmth, compassion, and clear boundaries. They value understanding their children’s emotions and perspectives while providing consistent guidance and age-appropriate expectations.
Learning is a big part of their home, and they turn everyday moments into opportunities for curiosity, growth, and fun. They believe children learn best through meaningful conversations, imaginative play, hands-on exploration, and being fully present with the people around them. As a screen-free household, they value caregivers who actively engage with the children and make each day enriching and fun.
Both parents are deeply engaged in raising their children while recognizing the value of bringing an experienced childcare professional into their home. Mom is home throughout portions of the day, and Dad works from home, creating a collaborative environment where open communication and mutual respect are essential. They value caregivers who contribute ideas, communicate thoughtfully, and become trusted partners in supporting their children's growth.
They are a health-minded family and enjoy staying active, and embracing this new chapter as a family of four. They enjoy spending time together through music, good food, seasonal activities, and little adventures
While travel is not currently part of the role, they do anticipate incorporating it in the future and would love to find a nanny who is comfortable joining them for both domestic and international travel.
Who Thrives Here:
This role is ideal for a professional nanny who is detail-oriented, passionate about early childhood development, and demonstrates exceptional judgment. The family is seeking someone who is naturally curious, highly observant, and committed to providing thoughtful, intentional care.
They value caregivers who stay informed on current best practices, enjoy continuing their education, and understand the “why” behind their approach. The ideal nanny is proactive and confident, able to anticipate the children’s needs, recognize developmental changes, and independently create fun, meaningful opportunities for learning, exploration, and connection throughout the day.
This nanny should be calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and adaptable while providing a consistent and secure environment for the children. Strong communication is essential, as the family appreciates a caregiver who can thoughtfully share observations and discuss milestones. They value a nanny whose judgment they trust as much as their experience. They also take pride in maintaining a well-run home and appreciate someone who keeps spaces tidy, follows through on responsibilities, and consistently demonstrates professionalism. Professionalism is especially important to this family. They appreciate a nanny who is punctual, organized, engaged with the children throughout the day, and proactive in both childcare and child-related household responsibilities.
Daily Rhythm:
Each day centers around creating a calm, nurturing environment where both children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. The nanny will provide attentive infant care while supporting developmental milestones through feeding routines, naps, tummy time, language development, sensory play, outdoor walks, music, reading, and age-appropriate activities.
For the toddler, the family values a caregiver who naturally incorporates educational moments into everyday life through imaginative play, conversation, books, music, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, counting, colors, shapes, letters, vocabulary building, and opportunities to encourage independence.
Child-related household responsibilities include washing bottles and pump parts, preparing children’s meals and snacks, managing children’s laundry, tidying play areas and bedrooms, organizing toys and children’s belongings, restocking diapers, wipes, and baby essentials, maintaining the diaper bag, and planning engaging daily activities and outings. The nanny will also provide thoughtful updates, photos, and communication throughout the day.
The family appreciates a nanny who takes initiative, notices what needs attention, and naturally contributes to maintaining an organized and peaceful household.
