DETAILED & EDUCATIONALLY MINDED NANNY NEEDED FOR FAMILY IN NORTHERN VA

Location: Aldie, VA, 20105

Children: 5-month-old & 2.5-year-old

Compensation: $35-$38/hr

Schedule: 40 guaranteed hrs/week. Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility is appreciated on occasion.

His parents have fostered a love of learning, and through everyday play and conversation, he already recognizes letters, numbers, colors, and shapes and can count well beyond twenty. He attends preschool for half a day in the mornings.

While the primary focus will be caring for the baby during the day, the nanny should also feel comfortable caring for both children when needed, whether Mom is running errands, attending appointments, or the family would like an occasional evening out.

The nanny will also provide thoughtful updates, photos, and communication throughout the day.

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Recent experience working with an infant
• Experience with baby-led weaning
• Bilingual in French is a bonus
• Flexibility to travel with the family as-needed
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
• Comfortable with pets; the family has a 12-year-old hypoallergenic dog
