A semi-formal family — a young couple with three children ages 3, 7, and 9 — is seeking a loving, kind, caring, and professional Nanny. The family resides in Silicon Valley and maintains secondary residences nearby. The household is supported by a professionally managed family office, with legal payroll, written policies, guaranteed hours, and a dedicated household team. The ideal candidate will be organized and thoughtful in their approach, treating safety, confidentiality, and flexibility as top priorities.

This person will be calm and even-keeled, skilled at creating and maintaining a quiet environment for family spaces, and able to pivot as priorities change. They will support reading, math, manners, and executive function alongside outdoor play, museum learning, and age-appropriate independence. They will work closely with the parents as the primary support for all child care needs, within a structured schedule and guaranteed hours, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role

Benefits:

• $60-$75 per hour depending on experience, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week paid year-round, including periods when the family travels without you; overtime paid in accordance with California law

Experience Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of professional nanny experience with UHNW families
    • Longevity with prior families (4+ years with each prior role)
  • Experience with three children, busy households, and personal/work-combination travel
  • Early childhood or elementary education background
  • Strong references from long-term families
  • Certification in child development and care

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Early childhood or elementary education background

Qualifications

  • COVID vaccinated
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.; valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Valid driver’s license (driving is a requirement of the position)
  • Proficient swimmer
  • Able to ride a bicycle
  • Able to lift 50+lbs
  • CPR Certified
  • Must be legally able to work in the US
  • Valid DL and clean driving record

Responsibilities

•Support research and registration for enrichment activities, sports, and camps
• Provide a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for all three children
• Transport the children to and from school and other activities as needed
• Engage the children in educational and fun indoor and outdoor play
• Provide structured and unstructured opportunities for learning and development
• Support family travel: pack and unpack, research and plan children’s meals and activities, and lead structured in-flight activities
• Travel with the family as needed
• Assist the children in making gifts and cards for family birthdays and holidays
• Bathe and dress the children, including changing diapers and potty training
• Read to and with the children
• Administer medicine when needed, with parental consent
• Organize the children’s rooms and play areas
• Ensure all homes are optimally set up for the children
• Send nightly summaries to parents covering the highlights of the day
