Part-Time Nanny (Special Needs Childcare Experience Required) – Denver, CO

20 hours/week | Long-term (1yr minimum placement) | Two children (ages 4 & 7)

Neuronanny is seeking an experienced nanny/behavioral support professional for a long-term placement with a family in the Denver area. The role supports two elementary-aged children, including one child with neurodivergent and behavioral support needs.

We are specifically seeking a candidate who is confident supporting children who may experience emotional dysregulation, difficulty with transitions, or occasional physical outbursts. The ideal candidate can remain calm, maintain safety, set appropriate boundaries, and effectively de-escalate challenging situations.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, approximately 1:00–5:00pm
• Guaranteed 20 hours/week
• September 2026 start
• Occasional additional hours may be available

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as an RBT or higher
• Previous nanny experience highly preferred
• Direct experience supporting children with behavioral and/or neurodivergent needs, especially ADHD
• Demonstrated experience safely responding to physical outbursts and de-escalating challenging behavior
• Reliable, patient, consistent, and comfortable maintaining clear boundaries
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• Comfortable with puppies and large dogs
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Three professional references and background check approval required

Responsibilities

• After-school pickup and supervision
• Support with routines, transitions, homework, and emotional regulation
• Reinforce established behavioral strategies and positive expectations
• Safely manage and de-escalate behavioral incidents when needed
• Transport children to occasional activities
• Prepare simple meals/snacks and assist with light child-related household tasks

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
