Part Time Nanny/Family Assistant

Summary:
A truly lovely family is seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for their one-month-old baby girl and grow with their family for years to come. The ideal candidate will have extensive infant care experience, including feeding support, soothing techniques, and safe sleep practices, along with a genuine understanding of how to support new parents as they navigate this exciting first chapter. Responsibilities include all baby-related tasks, such as washing and sterilizing bottles, baby laundry, maintaining the nursery, and ensuring all baby supplies are clean, organized, and well stocked. As the baby grows, the role will naturally evolve to include age appropriate developmental activities, educational play, outings, and fostering important developmental milestones. In addition to providing exceptional childcare, the family is looking for someone who enjoys serving as a true family assistant and is happy to step in wherever needed to help the household run smoothly. Responsibilities will include running errands, grocery shopping, receiving deliveries, breaking down boxes, helping keep common areas tidy, organizing household spaces, assisting with family laundry as needed, and handling other light household tasks that support the family during this busy season. The family is seeking someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes initiative to make daily life easier.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will be calm, reliable, professional, and highly organized, with excellent communication skills and a warm, reassuring presence. Infant CPR and First Aid certification are required. Candidates should be proactive, detail oriented, comfortable working independently, and committed to maintaining a nurturing, safe, and well organized environment.
