About the Family

Fast-paced, easygoing, and active parents are seeking a long-term nanny/household assistant for their 2 sports-loving boys, B12 and B9. Their family has a lot of coming and going, especially during the school year, and they’re looking for someone who can help keep things running smoothly while bringing fun and energy to the boys’ afternoons.

Both boys are laid-back, easygoing, and full of personality. They love sports, with B12 interested in just about every sport and B9 especially loving football and basketball. This is a great role for someone who will genuinely take an interest in what the boys enjoy, whether that means talking sports, throwing a football, shooting hoops, or simply spending time with them.

This role combines household support with after-school care. Before the boys are home, responsibilities may include grocery shopping, laundry, and helping with other household needs. Afternoons will include school pickup, homework support and accountability, driving to sports and activities, and finding ways to keep the boys active and engaged.

The position will begin as soon as the right fit is found and offers approximately 20 guaranteed hours per week over 3 days. The days will be determined in advance and remain consistent for the agreed-upon period, but may shift with different seasons or changes in the children’s schedules.

Bringing Your Own Child

The family is not open to a candidate who would need to bring their own child every day but is open to someone bringing their child occasionally, if needed.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional childcare experience
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• 3 strong professional childcare references
• Valid driver’s license and comfortable transporting children

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $35/hour
• Estimated Annual Income: $36,400
• Guaranteed Hours: Approximately 20 hours/week

Schedule

• 3 days per week
• Days will be determined in advance and remain consistent for the agreed-upon period
• Days may change seasonally based on the children's schedules
