ENGAGED & COMMUNICATIVE NANNY NEEDED FOR TWINS IN AVON LAKE, OH

Location: Avon Lake, OH, 44012

Children: Soon-to-be-two-year-old twins

Compensation: $32-$40/hr

Schedule: 40 guaranteed hrs/week. The general schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Benefits: Paid sick time, PTO, paid major holidays, a healthcare stipend, a continuing education stipend, and a family vehicle for on-the-job travel.

One daughter is playful, energetic, and loves staying active. She enjoys being outside, coloring, looking through books, and independent play. She is also very social and loves babbling and interacting with those around her.

Her sister is silly, curious, and a little more reserved at first. Once she warms up, her playful personality shines through. She loves singing and music, making funny faces, playing outside, and being the household comedian.

Daily Rhythm: 

In this role, the nanny will provide attentive, engaging care for the twins. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities and outings, modeling grown-up behaviors, reading stories, participating actively in daily play and learning, encouraging music, creativity, and exploration of new ideas and concepts, and supporting the girls’ growing communication skills and receptiveness to gentle redirection or discipline.

Additional responsibilities include tidying and organization related to the children, meal planning for the children, meal and snack preparation, post-meal clean up, laundering the girls’ clothing and linens, taking them to appointments, providing sick care when needed, emptying the diaper pail, restocking the diaper bag, and sending photos and updates throughout the day.

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Strong experience caring for toddlers, ideally with twins or multiples
• Early Childhood Education background preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
• Current on standard vaccinations (TDaP, COVID, Flu)
• Pet friendly. The family has two Ragdoll cats who mostly keep to themselves.

This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
