Full-Time Nanny – Scarsdale, NY

A young family who recently relocated from NYC to Scarsdale is looking for an experienced and nurturing nanny to join their household as they settle into this exciting new chapter. They recently welcomed their second daughter, a sweet and alert newborn, who joins their confident and imaginative 4-year-old. The nanny’s primary focus will be caring for the baby and creating a warm, consistent routine throughout the day. Mom will be available for breastfeeding and pumping as needed, while the nanny will otherwise take the lead on the baby’s day-to-day care. Their 4-year-old attends Pre-K and after-school activities, which Mom primarily manages, though the nanny should be comfortable helping with her from time to time.

They’re looking for someone who can become a trusted presence in their home–someone who is comfortable taking initiative while also working collaboratively with the parents.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing attentive, hands-on care for the newborn
• Managing bottles, feedings, naps, and daily routines
• Engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental play, including tummy time
• Keeping the baby’s areas and belongings organized
• Handling child-related tidying and light household tasks
• Assisting with the 4-year-old as needed
• Providing transportation as needed

Candidates should have strong infant experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, be COVID-19 vaccinated, and be comfortable with a small dog in the home.
