A British family based in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced, warm, and highly organized Live-In Nanny to care for three school-aged girls, ages 6, 7, and 10. The home is fully staffed and includes a House Manager and Full-Time Housekeeper.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with school-aged children, and able to provide a balance of structure, warmth, fun, and professionalism.
Schedule
Tuesday–Saturday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Off Sunday and Monday
There is significant downtime during the day while the children are in school.
This is a live-in position and flexibility is required.
Living Accommodation
Private room provided to include a standard private bedroom with a separate entrance/exit and a private bathroom, located on the opposite end of the home away from the family’s main living area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the children’s morning routine, including breakfast and preparation for the day.
- Help tidy up after the children in the morning.
- Maintain the girls’ bedrooms, wardrobes, play areas, and personal spaces.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children when they return from school.
- Support homework, school projects, routines, manners, and age-appropriate structure.
- Help organize playdates, activities, clubs, and after-school plans.
- Travel with the family during school holidays when needed.
- Work closely with the House Manager, who will coordinate schedules, school communication, activities, and travel plans.
- Provide a warm, engaging, and structured environment for the children.
- Support the parents’ preferred parenting style and household expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience caring for school-aged children.
- MUST Swim
- Experience caring for multiple children.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage routines.
- Warm, fun, engaging, and nurturing personality.
- Firm and structured when needed.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working as part of a household team.
- Comfortable taking direction from a House Manager.
- Professional, reliable, discreet, and flexible.
- Comfortable around dogs. The family has three small dogs.
- Travel-ready and comfortable accompanying the family during school holidays.
- Driving is strongly preferred. The House Manager handles school drop-off and pick-up, but the nanny should be comfortable driving as a backup
Compensation
Commensurate with experience PTO, Holiday pay, Sick pay etc.
