Russian Hill First Time Parents Seek Loving Career Newborn Nanny

We are seeking a highly experienced nanny to support first time parents in San Francisco. The parents are looking for someone who is highly intuitive, warm, and has deep newborn experience. They are especially interested in a caregiver who understands and is very attune to newborn development and milestones. The parents are looking for a long-term relationship and trust with their nanny. The family wants to hire a candidate ASAP for a November 1st start. Someone who loves to travel and is comfortable with international travel as well would be a great fit. Their homebase is between San Francisco and Europe.

Responsibilities will include comprehensive newborn care, feeding support, diapering, bathing, soothing, early developmental support, baby laundry, cleaning and sterilizing baby items and nursery organization.

Experience Requirements

5-10 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Newborn Care Specialist experience. A background in newborn care strongly preferred

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English required
Fluency in French a plus

Qualifications

Covid-Vaccinated and Boosted

MMR, Flu, TB and TDAP up to date

CPR Certified

Valid Driver with clean record

Highly experienced with Newborns and previous long-term relationships with past employers

Responsibilities

Newborn Care: Feeding support, diapering, bathing, dressing, nail trimming, soothing, establishing routines, and helping with sleep and feeding patterns as appropriate.

All other tasks related to baby: Baby-related laundry, bottle and feeding-item cleaning and sterilizing, tidying nursery and baby areas, and maintaining an organized environment for the baby.
