Inside Their World: A welcoming and organized family is looking for a professional rotational nanny to join them in caring for their 4-month-old daughter.
Their daughter is a happy, social, easygoing, and curious baby who loves being around people and discovering anything new. She enjoys singing, funny noises, and being part of the day, whether that means being carried around the house or going for walks and adventures outside. She is happiest when she is engaged with the people around her and loves getting out of the house to explore her surroundings.
Family Environment:
Mom and dad prioritize a nurturing, responsive, and loving approach to childcare, with an emphasis on helping their daughter feel secure, connected, and cared for. They follow a responsive approach to sleep and soothing, while allowing their daughter some time to practice settling herself when appropriate. They value a caregiver who can incorporate their daughter into the rhythm of the day while also giving her opportunities for independent play and exploration. As a family, they love spending time outdoors and making the most of time together, taking walks, visiting family and friends, and enjoying time by the pool.
The nanny should be comfortable working in a household where the parents may be present throughout the day while confidently taking ownership of the child’s care and routines. As this is a dual-physician household, flexibility with the schedule will be greatly appreciated.
Who Thrives Here:
This position is ideal for a warm, outgoing, and emotionally steady nanny. The family is looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and capable of anticipating needs independently.
The ideal nanny will genuinely enjoy getting outside with the child, planning engaging activities, and creating a fun and stimulating daily rhythm. They should be flexible, calm, and comfortable in a welcoming household where family and friends may regularly visit.
Someone who is collaborative, confident, and comfortable building an open, communicative relationship with both parents. This person is adaptable and able to roll with the natural changes of a busy family’s day while staying organized and dependable. They bring positive energy into the home, take initiative without needing to be asked, and approach their work with both professionalism and care.
Daily Rhythm:
In this role, the nanny will provide attentive, nurturing care for a young infant while supporting her daily routines and development. Responsibilities include planning fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, coordinating playdates, supporting naps and sleep routines, preparing bottles and safely handling and storing breast milk, and caring for her when she is sick. As she gets older, the nanny will provide transportation to age appropriate activities, classes, and outings.
Additional responsibilities include preparing simple meals and snacks as she begins solids, loading the dishwasher, washing and sterilizing bottles and breast pump parts, laundering children’s clothes and linens, tidying and organizing children’s common areas, emptying the diaper pail, restocking the diaper bag, and keeping parents updated with photos throughout the day.
Qualifications:
This position is open to candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
