Full Time Live In Nanny

Summary:
Seaside is seeking a live-in Nanny/Family Assistant for a repeat client family we adore. The household has a warm and unique dynamic: a father who is deeply devoted to his two children, ages 4 and 6, and involved grandparents who are part of daily life. We are looking for someone with genuine heart, patience, and a calm, grounding presence who will embrace this family fully, show up with consistency and empathy, and truly become part of their village. This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who is in it for the long haul, ready to grow alongside these children and adapt gracefully to the natural ebb and flow of family life. Accommodations include your own private room and bathroom, and a vehicle is provided for your use. The family also offers 2 weeks of PTO and paid holidays. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, with Monday beginning at noon, and hours will not exceed 45 per week. On Friday, the nanny does the school drop-off and is then off for the weekend. You are welcome to stay in the home during your time off or go away for the weekend. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Required Skills:
Duties include driving the family minivan, school pick-up and drop-off, and running errands. The nanny will also handle grocery and Instacart orders, Amazon orders, and cooking for the family, including meal prep and dinner setup. The role includes keeping an ongoing list of what is in the house and what is needed. Daily responsibilities include engaging the children in creative, age-appropriate activities, bath time, and getting the kids organized and ready for the next school day. The nanny will also help with light upkeep and resetting the home as part of the daily routine, though a cleaning service comes weekly. Candidates must be comfortable managing two children at different developmental stages simultaneously, be tech savvy, and comfortable working in a home with animals. A clean driving record is required. Above all, we are looking for someone laid back, with a big heart, who brings calm energy into every room they walk into.
