Live-In Nanny– Beverly Hills, CA

A warm, active family in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and proactive Live-In Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their 3-year-old son and infant daughter. The family is looking for someone who genuinely loves children, is highly dependable, and is interested in becoming a long-term part of their household.

The nanny will live with the family in Beverly Hills with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. In August 2028, the family plans to relocate to their new home in Austin, TX, and the nanny must be willing to relocate with them.

Position Details

• Start Date: October 2026 – flexible

• Pay: $35–$40/hour

• Guaranteed Hours: 45 paid hours per week

• Guaranteed Off-Duty Hours

• Children: 3-year-old and infant

• Location: Beverly Hills, CA; relocating to Austin, TX in August 2028

• Live-In: Private bedroom and bathroom provided

• Travel: Domestic and international travel required

Weekly Schedule

• Monday: OFF

• Tuesday: 7–11 AM / 3–7 PM — 8 hours

• Wednesday: 7–11 AM / 2–7 PM — 9 hours

• Thursday: 7–11 AM / 3–7 PM — 8 hours

• Friday: 7 AM–12:30 PM / 3–7 PM — 9.5 hours

• Saturday: 10:30 AM–1:30 PM / 4–9 PM* — 8 hours

• Sunday: 11 AM–1:30 PM* — 2.5 hours

• Total: 45 guaranteed hours/week

Weekend timing may be flexible depending on family plans while maintaining the guaranteed weekly schedule and established off-duty hours.

They are looking for someone who enjoys working alongside involved parents and understands the natural rhythm of a private family home. The ideal nanny will be confident taking full ownership when needed while also having the emotional intelligence to recognize and respect family time.

The family currently employs another nanny, so being collaborative, flexible, and respectful within a household team is important. The nanny must also be completely comfortable independently managing both children.

Privacy, discretion, confidentiality, and professional boundaries are extremely important in this household. The nanny will be expected to maintain the family's privacy and sign an NDA.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for both children

• Plan activities, outings, playdates, and learning opportunities

• Support infant and toddler routines and developmental milestones

• Prepare children's meals, bottles, and snacks

• Manage children's laundry, belongings, supplies, and organization

• Safely transport children to school, activities, appointments, and outings

• Assist with family laundry, groceries, meal prep, errands, organization, and travel preparation when childcare needs allow

• Work collaboratively with the parents, other nanny, and household team

Travel

Travel is an important part of family life, with regular travel throughout California, Texas, Mexico, and Europe. The family typically takes 3–4 larger trips each year, along with shorter getaways. They are also building a home in Mexico, where they anticipate spending extended periods in the future. The nanny must be comfortable with both domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional nanny experience

• Strong, recent infant and toddler experience

• Comfortable independently caring for multiple young children

• Previous live-in and Nanny/Family Assistant experience preferred

• Warm, nurturing, proactive, organized, flexible, and discreet

• Comfortable working alongside hands-on parents and another nanny

• Strong understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality

• Excellent communication skills and professional references

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record

• Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain

• Strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children around water

• Valid passport and comfortable with domestic and international travel

• Comfortable with dogs

• Willing to sign an NDA

• Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX with the family in August 2028
