Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (45 Hours Per Week)

Job Details
We are seeking, on behalf of our client located in Wayzata, a highly experienced Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for one infant, currently 5 months old, in a private household.

This is a sole-charge childcare position with one parent working from home. The nanny will have primary responsibility for the child's care throughout the day and should be comfortable working independently while maintaining a professional and respectful relationship with a work-from-home parent.

The family is seeking a nanny who will provide a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate daily routine, including daily neighborhood walks using the stroller, age-appropriate activities, infant classes, and outings. A family vehicle will be provided for transportation with the child.

As the infant approaches the next stage of development, the nanny will also support the introduction of solid foods, following the parents' preferences and guidance. Experience introducing solids and establishing age-appropriate feeding routines is highly valued.

The household includes one small dog; no pet care is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands-on sole-charge care for the infant throughout the day
• Manage feeding, naps, routines, and age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a daily nanny journal
• Support the introduction of solid foods and age-appropriate feeding routines
• Prepare and serve infant foods according to the family's preferences and guidance
• Take the child on daily neighborhood walks using the stroller
• Plan engaging developmental activities and regular outings
• Attend infant classes and activities and take the child on outings using the family vehicle
• Support the child's physical, social, and developmental growth
• Maintain the child's nursery, play areas, bottles, and child-related items
• Communicate professionally with the parents regarding the child's daily activities, schedule, and development
• Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment
• Handle occasional child-related errands as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience, with strong infant experience
• Prior experience introducing solid foods to infants and establishing age-appropriate feeding routines
• Warm, nurturing, and attentive approach to childcare
• Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities
• Confident providing sole-charge care while a parent works from home
• Reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work independently
• Comfortable taking initiative with outings and activities
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
