ROTA Nanny (Nationwide Search)

Summary:
We are currently hiring anexperienced ROTA nanny for a warm, fully staffed household in Southern California, with each nanny working a rotating schedule of one week on and one week off. These roles provide nurturing, creative, and engaging care for two 2.5-year-olds. We welcome both local candidates and those from outside the area who are open to traveling in for rotations. This is a wonderful opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of two little ones during an exciting and formative stage of growth.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of professional nanny experience, with experience caring for multiples strongly preferred and twin experience a significant plus. A solid understanding of toddler development is essential, along with proficiency in redirection, positive reinforcement, and choice strategies. Responsibilities include providing attentive and loving care during on-weeks, planning age-appropriate activities that build language, motor skills, independence, and creativity, and supporting daily routines and milestones such as sleep, meals, outings, and toilet learning. Each nanny will communicate and collaborate closely with their rotation partner, the family, and other team members to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent care, handle light housekeeping related to the children, and occasionally assist with care for the family's dog. Excellent communication skills, flexibility within a rotational schedule, and a genuine team-player mindset are a must.
