• We’re helping a wonderful returning family in Bedford find an experienced and professional Housekeeper/Family Assistant to become a long-term part of their household. The family has three school-aged children, ages 7, 10, and 11, as well as several much-loved animals.

   

  This is primarily a hands-on housekeeping position, with approximately 80% of the role focused on cleaning and maintaining the home and 20% on helping with the children and other household needs.

   

  Driver Required: Yes; clean driving record required and reliable car

  Pets: 2 dogs, 2 ponies, 2 rabbits, chickens & fish

  Vaccinations: Required

   

  Responsibilities: 

  • Full housekeeping and cleaning of the family’s five-bedroom home

  • Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas

  • Laundry, linens, and household organization

  • Kitchen clean-up, including dinner dishes

  • Driving and assisting with the children as needed

  • Household errands and general family assistance

  • Helping with the family’s animals, including feeding and cleaning their areas as needed

  • Keeping the household running smoothly, clean, and organized

The family is looking for someone who takes initiative, has strong judgment, and is comfortable anticipating needs and figuring things out independently. They would love someone warm who can become a trusted part of their household while also understanding professional boundaries and respecting the family’s space. A confident driver with a clean driving record is important.
