Job Details
We are assisting our client in South Florida who is seeking an experienced Private Educator/Governess to provide individualized education, enrichment, and guidance for two elementary school-age children. This is a year-round, permanent position for an accomplished educator who enjoys creating personalized learning experiences and traveling extensively with a private family.

The ideal candidate will have strong elementary education experience, a warm and engaging teaching style, and the ability to independently develop and implement an educational program tailored to each child. In addition to academics, the role will support the children's manners, etiquette, social development, routines, cultural exposure, and overall personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and develop an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
• Support academic growth while fostering curiosity, independence, confidence, and critical thinking
• Guide manners, etiquette, social development, and age-appropriate life skills
• Establish positive routines and encourage organization and independence
• Incorporate cultural experiences, travel, educational outings, and enrichment into learning
• Monitor academic and personal development and communicate regularly with parents
• Maintain educational continuity during domestic and international travel
• Coordinate, as appropriate, with tutors, activity instructors, nannies, and other professionals involved with the children

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional teaching or private education experience
• Strong elementary education experience
• Previous experience traveling internationally with a private family required
• Experience working in a private household or with high-profile families preferred
• Strong curriculum development and individualized instruction skills
• Comfortable with extensive domestic and international travel
• Excellent communication skills, discretion, and well presented in appearance
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
• Confident driver with a valid driver's license
