WESTSIDE FAMILY ASSISTANT / GIRL NANNY – ASAP START

Location: Ocean Park, Santa Monica 

Schedule: Mon–Fri, approximately 11 AM–6:30 PM (38 guaranteed hrs/week) 

Pay: $35–$40/hr DOE | W-2 employment 

Commitment: 1 year minimum

A warm, active Santa Monica family seeks an experienced, proactive nanny/family assistant for two school-age girls (1st and 5th grade). The ideal candidate is patient, organized, engaging, and comfortable managing busy afternoon schedules. Paid overlap with the current nanny is preferred for a smooth transition.

Responsibilities:

- School pickups, extracurricular transportation, and playdate coordination

- Engaging activities, crafts, outings, and age-appropriate support

- Grocery shopping and simple, healthy family meal prep

- Children's organization, tidying, and household errands

- Coordinating with housekeeper and anticipating family needs

- Supporting routines, independence, and positive boundaries

Requirements:                      

- Professional school-age childcare experience

- Safe, confident driver with clean record

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Comfortable with dogs and supervising pool activities

- Flexible for occasional later evenings

- Reliable, proactive, and seeking a long-term role

Family currently resides in Ocean Park with a move to Pacific Palisades in fall 2027. Vehicle provided or mileage reimbursement available. No regular weekends.
