Inside Their World:

A loving and active family is seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and nurturing professional nanny to care for their 7 month old daughter and become a consistent presence in their home. They hope to find someone who genuinely enjoys supporting busy families and is excited to build a long term partnership, with the potential for the role to grow alongside their family.

Their daughter is a sweet, playful baby who is curious about the world around her. She is nearing the crawling stage, enjoys eating purées, and has begun exploring self feeding.

The family has established a thoughtful rhythm around their daughter and is looking for a nanny who can confidently maintain her routines. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in being attentive. The ideal nanny will bring strong infant experience, reliability, and a genuine love for helping a baby grow, explore, and thrive.

Family Environment:

This is a warm, active, and organized household. Mom and Dad work both in and out of the home and are hands on and nurturing parents who bring an intentional approach to raising their daughter. Outside of work and parenting, the family enjoys horseback riding, traveling, and exploring new experiences together. They hope to welcome a nanny who appreciates a close knit family dynamic and contributes to a calm, supportive home environment.

Who Thrives Here:

The ideal candidate is compassionate, efficient, and dependable. They enjoy supporting children through each stage of development and love planning engaging, educational, and age appropriate activities. This person brings positivity and good energy to the home each day, with a warm, friendly personality and a proactive, helpful approach.  The nanny should be flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to the family’s schedule and needs while maintaining a positive, supportive approach. They are trustworthy and respectful of the parents’ preferences, with a natural ability to anticipate the family’s needs, take initiative, and know when to step in and step out.

Travel is an essential part of this role, and the family enjoys traveling throughout the year. Candidates can expect to join them on seasonal trips, including weekends in Palm Springs during the winter, Thanksgiving in St. Barts, and a two-week trip to Europe in late June. Trips may range from several days to a few weeks at a time, and previous travel experience is a plus.

The family values open, direct communication and is looking for a calm, relationship-driven, and solution-oriented nanny who feels comfortable raising questions or concerns as they arise and communicates honestly and respectfully to foster a collaborative relationship built on mutual trust.

Daily Rhythm:

The nanny will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care while supporting the baby's growth through feeding routines, naps, language development, sensory play, tummy time, and other age appropriate activities. The family is looking for someone who enjoys spending time at home with the baby and can create an engaging, nurturing environment throughout the day.

Child related household responsibilities will include washing and preparing bottles, preparing age appropriate meals as needed, managing the child's laundry, restocking diaper stations and the diaper bag, emptying the diaper pail, loading the dishwasher, and maintaining general tidiness and organization related to the child. The nanny will also share updates and photos with the parents throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Strong, recent experience caring for newborns and young infants
  • Flexible & adaptable to schedules, especially while traveling
  • Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel both domestically and internationally throughout the year
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • Pet-friendly. The family has two large dogs.
