Job Details
Our client, located in Deephaven is seeking a nurturing and highly organized Nanny to care for their two children, ages 6 years and 20 months. This role combines hands-on childcare and early childhood education with light household management support.

The family's current nanny is transitioning out of the role after four years. Both parents work from home, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a household where parents are present while confidently managing the children's daily routines and activities.

During the school year, the primary focus will be caring for the youngest child, supporting developmental milestones, and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with potty training, early learning, and developing foundational skills such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and fine motor coordination. Responsibilities also include taking the youngest child to enrichment classes, playgroups, swimming lessons, and other outings.

While the older child is at school, the nanny will assist with child-related organization, laundry, errands, and other light household management tasks. During the summer months and school holidays, the focus will shift to both children, including planning activities and accompanying the family on trips.

A vehicle is available for use during work hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both children
• Support early childhood learning, potty training, and school readiness through engaging, play-based activities
• Assist in coordinating outings, enrichment classes, playgroups, and swimming lessons
• Prepare simple meals and snacks and maintain the children's daily routines
• Manage children's laundry, wardrobes, play areas, and activity supplies
• Assist with family errands, scheduling, and light household organization
• Travel with the family domestically and internationally, maintaining flexibility as family needs require

Travel Experience

• Prior travel nanny experience, including domestic and international travel
• Experience supervising children during flights, airport transitions, and ground transportation
• Confident navigating unfamiliar cities with children and planning safe, engaging outings and activities
• Experience providing childcare at vacation properties including pool and beach supervision

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of professional nanny experience with toddlers and school-aged children
• College degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
• Travel Nanny Experience
• Organized, proactive, engaging, and comfortable balancing childcare with household support
• Complete flexibility to travel domestically and internationally with the family
• Valid driver's license
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent professional references
