Live-in Nanny for Twins
Join a fully staffed household as a live-in nanny, caring primarily for their 6-month-old twins during an exciting stage of growth and discovery. The family’s three older children, ages 2, 4, and 6, attend school until the afternoon. A second live-in nanny starts later in the day to manage after-school activities and logistics for the older children, while you work alongside an involved stay-at-home mother to care for the twins and help with the 2-year-old, who has fewer afternoon activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your knowledge of infant and toddler development into practice through purposeful play, nurturing routines, and activities that support new milestones. As the family’s newborn care specialist completes her assignment, you will assume daytime care of the twins, with overnight availability when they need support.
- Live-in 5 days per week, your choice to stay or go home on off-duty days
- Sunday, 8am to 12pm
- Monday, 7am to 7pm
- Tuesday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
- Short-term Travel Required: weekend trips, trips up to 1-4 weeks; private / charter; domestic and international
Duties:
- Care for the twins and ensure safety throughout the day
- Plan age-appropriate developmental play
- Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical milestones
- Follow a daily routine for naps, meals, and play
- Read books, sing songs, and encourage early literacy
- Lead sensory, creative, and outdoor activities
- Attend classes, playdates, and outings
- Track developmental progress and share updates
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Assist other nanny by caring for twins and 2 year old afterschool
- Keep play areas, children’s room, kitchen, and common spaces tidy after use
