This kind, loving family is looking for an experienced nanny. Your mornings will focus on caring for their 8-month-old baby, with their 4-year-old joining you after school ends at 12pm. The parents handle school pickup, leaving you to focus on engaging play, nurturing care, and a smooth afternoon routine. This position is a great fit for an experienced infant nanny who enjoys being helpful and keeping a home running smoothly. During the baby’s naps while the older child is at school, you will assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and general tidying. Mom works from home and may occasionally take over childcare, giving you time to focus on these household responsibilities.

An added benefit: choose the permanent schedule that works best for you—either 8am to 3pm or 8am to 5pm.

Ideal Nanny: Experienced with infants and toddlers; warm, attentive, organized; takes initiative and can manage the baby's schedules, wake windows, and routines.

Schedule:

Mon-Thurs, 8am to 3/5pm
Friday, 8am to 12pm
For Mon-Thurs hours, the nanny can choose to work 8-3 or 8-5

Start: November 9th, or flexible start date

Duties:

Primarily care for baby during the day while 4-year-old is in school until 12pm
Maintain daily routines for naps, meals, school, and play
Engage in educational play and support milestones
Support after-school, nap, and bedtime routines
Supervise children and ensure safety throughout the day
Prepare meals and snacks
Do children’s laundry, rotate clothing by size/season, and change linens
Tidy children's rooms, play areas, kitchen, and common spaces; light Swiffer floors
The light housekeeping duties will occur during nap times.
