Full Time Nanny / Family Assistant

Summary:
Warm, welcoming family is seeking a seasoned full-time Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their three children, ages 9, 7, and 2.5. The older children are in school, so care is primarily for the 2 year old. The ideal candidate is warm, nurturing, calm, and proactive, with the ability to work independently while adapting to the needs of an involved family with busy schedules. Responsibilities include providing attentive childcare, preparing healthy, home-cooked meals for the children, managing children’s laundry, maintaining daily tidiness, and assisting with errands and school or extracurricular transportation as needed. The schedule is approximately 40–50 hours per week, with flexibility. The family is also seeking someone open to domestic and potentially international travel three to four times per year. Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required.

Required Skills:
Candidates should have several years of professional nanny experience, ideally working with families with a SAHM. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative without requiring constant direction, while remaining receptive to the family’s preferences and routines. A nurturing, patient, and even-tempered personality is essential, along with experience caring for multiple children of varying ages. Candidates must be able to swim and feel comfortable working in a home with a dog; pet care is not required. The ability to prepare nutritious meals, maintain an organized environment, and assist with transportation and errands is preferred. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to use a personal vehicle for work-related duties are needed.

Days & Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-7pm with some flexibility

Hourly/Salary:
35.-45.
